MEAT MAKER HERD SIRES

Any animal labeled with the Bar CK Meat Maker prefix has an ASA registration number and is out of registered parents on both sides of the pedigree. Meat Maker cattle are one half Angus and one half Simmental. These are not just cross bred cattle. This is a planned mating of the top end genetics of both breeds, designed to maximize heterosis and breed complimentary.

We feel our Meat Maker cattle are they answer to many of the problems facing producer today. Their calves are going to be born easy, grow fast and possess true carcass value in a uniform package. What’s more, the daughters will be the most fertile, easiest calving and fleshing, best milking with more stayability than any other cows on the place. Making Meat Makers is becoming the focal point of our breeding program. We want you to have plenty to chose from to stabilize your cross breeding program. They will make cross breeding simple. You will be able to use the same Meat Maker bull on your heifers and cows. No more need for complex breeding paddock rotations and you will be able to select replacements from all your cows while maximizing heterosis at the same time.

Triple C Explorer P27H is what our Meat Maker program is all about. Phenotypically fault free, extra sound, deep bodied, wide topped, clean fronted, tremendous EPD's and a very recognizable pedigree. He is going to be the stabilizing anchor in our "Meat Maker" program to make F2 Meat Makers. You could use him on commercial cows, halfblood cows, purebred cows, heifers or anyway you choose. Bar CK MeatMkr 1110R is a smooth polled F1 Meat Maker sired by Future Direction. 1110R is as stout and soft a bull as you’ll find. 1110R maternal grandsire is in the top 1% for marbling, 1110R ratioed 129 for IMF. We have used 1110R on our ½ blood heifers and cows. We’re excited to get his calves on the ground, they’re going to do some wonderful things for our breeding program and could do the same for yours.
